Logo Evolution Design & Brand Restyle
Littlewood Group
I was commissioned in 2023 to help create a cohesive and modern style for Littlewood Group as they embarked on a new era in the infrastructure sector.
They were moving away from being known in the world as just Littlewood Fencing (as this really only applied to local and retail fencing). They were so much bigger than this, often winning multi-million pound contracts for big construction projects like on HS2, Eurotunnel and Ministry of Defence.
I took time to research other businesses in the same sector or in a similar industry. I explored various new logo designs but I the founding partners were keen to keep the original logo so I used the original Littlewood main logo but used a modern, sans-serif typeface for the word Group. I then did the same for the retail side of the business adding Fencing in the same typeface.
I then set about doing a huge overhaul of all the marketing material. Anything client facing needed to have a consistent appearance and look professional. I created a brand book, new stationery, brochures, social media templates, exhibition artwork and Powerpoint presentations.
Littlewood used a web developer to build their website but to keep the continuity across every platform I designed it in Photoshop first.
